DAY 1 USA - EGYPT
Board flight to Egypt
DAY 2 ARRIVE CAIRO
Upon arrival to Cairo, meet and assist through formalities. Transfer to hotel.
DAY 3 CAIRO (B)
Full day sightseeing visiting the Three Pyramids & their Guardian the Great Sphinx, the Stepped Pyramid of Sakkara- the first stone structure in history, and Memphis- the capital of ancient Egypt.
DAY 4 CAIRO-ASWAN- ON BOARD CRUISE SHIP (B/L/D)
Transfer to airport for flight to Aswan. Embark cruise ship upon arrival. Afternoon tour by Felucca around Elephantine Island, the Botanical Garden, and the Agha Khan.
DAY 5 ASWAN-KOM OMBO-EDFU (B/L/D)
This morning explore more of Aswan with visits to the High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk, and the Temple of Philae. Sail to Kom Ombo where we will visit the Temple of Kom-Ombo- dedicated for gods Sobek and Haroeris. Sail on to Edfu in the afternoon.
DAY 6 EDFU-ESNA-LUXOR (B/L/D)
Morning visit to Temple of Edfu- dedicated to the god Horus. Lunch on board while sailing to Esna. Cross Esna Lock. and continue sail to Luxor.
DAY 7 LUXOR- CAIRO (B)
Disembark after breakfast. Continue sightseeing with tours of the West Bank including the Colossi of Memenon, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El-Bahari, and the Valley of Kings. (Optional visits to the Temple of Luxor and the Temple of Karnak) Fly to Cairo late afternoon.
DAY 8 CAIRO (B)
Full day tour of the Famous Egyptian Museum, the Citadel of Saladin, the Alabaster Mosque of Mohammed Ali and the Old Bazaars of Khan El Khalili.
DAY 9 CAIRO-USA (B)
Transfer to airport for flight home.
